DSF Strategic Plan 2025–2030 launched
DSF Strategic Plan 2025–2030 launched
The DSF has launched its second five-year Strategy, developed over 15 months through an extensive consultation process involving DSF members, the Development Group, the DSF Advisory Council (ADCO) and Governors. The Strategy reflects the input of key stakeholders while remaining grounded in the DSF’s capabilities.
A notable update is the expansion of the DSF vision to explicitly include buffalo alongside cattle—recognising the essential role buffalo milk plays in nutrition and rural livelihoods in many regions.
The Strategy is built around three overarching focus areas that will guide the DSF’s work through to 2030:
- Value proposition and reporting review and development
- Engaging with emerging economies and Low to Middle Income Countries
- DSF resourcing model options
Within these areas, the DSF retains the five strategic ‘delivery’ pillars from the 2020–2025 Strategy, which continue to provide a strong and proven focus for the DSF workplan:
- Reporting and Communications
- Growth and Development
- Membership Delivery and Support
- Collaboration and Engagement
- Business and Delivery Plan
Across these pillars, the Strategy outlines 18 strategic actions with aligned deliverables.
