Spotlight on Behaviour Change at the 2025 DSF Annual Meeting

16/10/2025

Spotlight on Behaviour Change at the 2025 DSF Annual Meeting

At the DSF, we know that some of the most powerful insights come from our peers — from real stories of success, bold innovation, and yes, even the lessons learned the hard way! This year, we’re turning up the spotlight on behaviour change — the driving force behind real, lasting progress across every part of the value chain.

Four inspiring DSF members will take the stage to share their own journeys and the tangible impact of their initiatives. We hope these stories ignite fresh ideas, spark lively discussion, and empower our entire community to push the boundaries of what’s possible together.
We will be hearing members experiences from across the globe, all with a focus on changing behaviours of stakeholders: Europe - Arla Foods, Morocco – Danone, New Zealand – DairyNZ and UK – The Dairy Roadmap.

Diving deeper into the Behaviour Change theme, the meeting will feature an inspiring Panel Session with world-renowned behavioural economist Professor Dan Ariely (Duke University), Donald Moore (DSF Chair), and DSF Advisory Council member Geeta Sethi (World Bank) [see article: Some new faces on DSF Governors and ADCO]. Together, they’ll explore how insights from behavioural science are transforming decision-making across industries. This lively and interactive session will invite participants to engage directly, members will have the unique opportunity to pose their own behaviour change questions to Professor Ariely and the panel, sparking a thought-provoking discussion that bridges research, practice, and real-world impact.

DSF is delighted that DSF Governor, Lori Captain Executive Vice President – Sustainability, Science & Industry Relations Dairy Management Inc. USA, will be MC of this year’s annual meeting. When asked about who Lori expects to be in the ‘virtual room’, this was her response – “Anyone passionate about dairy sustainability (which is really all our dairy colleagues)! This year’s online format makes it easier than ever to join, no travel required. It’s the perfect chance to take advantage, even virtually, of the DSF model learning, sharing, and connecting with our global dairy peers, driving sustainability.”

To ensure you can secure your place in the meeting, please register to attend the meeting on November 5th noon – 15h00 UK time.

06h00 – 09h00 CDT | 12h00 – 15h00 GMT | 15h00 – 18h00 EAT | 17h30 – 20h30 JST | 23h00 – 02h00 AEST | November 6th 01h00 – 04h00 NZDT
