Regional Livestock Carbon Markets Events

Supporting the deliverables of Pathways to Dairy Net Zero, Global Dairy Platform (GDP) is organizing regional livestock carbon markets events in Southeast Asia and South Asia in April and May, respectively, as part of an initiative that will culminate with a global convening in London in October 2025. Both upcoming regional events aim to convene policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to discuss livestock’s role in carbon markets and identify pathways for methane reduction and carbon sequestration.

The ASEAN Regional Livestock Carbon Markets Convening 2025 will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on April 22 (9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) in collaboration with the ASEAN Alliance on Carbon Market (AACM). The Regional Livestock Carbon Market Convening in India will be held on May 7 (9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.) in New Delhi, in collaboration with the Carbon Markets Association of India.
