New: Materiality assessment training resources now available for DSF members

Understanding materiality and knowing how to prioritize the DSF Criteria are key to successful DSF implementation. More importantly, the Materiality Assessment is a robust and recognised approach that ensures your organization invests focus on the ‘right’ as opposed to ‘perceived ‘priority sustainability topics. But with members coming from diverse geographies and backgrounds, not everyone arrives with the same familiarity. To bridge that gap, the DSF has launched a brand-new online materiality training resource designed to build knowledge and confidence across the membership.

The training package includes:

• Six modular learning units
• 12 video recordings with transcripts
• Slide decks and downloadable support materials
• Practical guidance to help members carry out their own materiality assessments

The programme was developed in collaboration with Environ, with valuable testing and feedback from DSF Stage 1 members in Zimbabwe and India.

Each module is designed for self-paced learning, making it easy to work through in short sessions or dive in deeper when time allows. Whether you’re new to materiality or refreshing your knowledge, the resources offer clear, step-by-step support.

The training is available to all DSF Stage 1, Implementing, and Aggregating members. Simply log into the DSF Members Area and start with the Quick User Guide, along with the comprehensive Supplemental Resources and Support Pack.
