DSF Members’ Community Activities during COVID-19
DSF Members’ Community Activities during COVID-19
It is wonderful to hear from DSF members seeking and suggesting alternative ways to "stay connected", whilst COVID-19 impacts the way we all go about our daily work and family activities. The DSF Secretariat is pleased to announce that from May there will be two webinars per month for DSF Members to connect, hear about the sustainability activities of other DSF members and have the opportunity to drill down into the specifics of the DSF Criteria and associated improvement/mitigation initiatives.
The first webinar will take place on May 14 and will focus on two initiatives closely connected to the DSF. Kevin Burkum, Director of Communications at GDP will share some detailed work that the GDP Communications Working Group have undertaken on communicating dairy’s messages in four key areas. Kevin will also share with DSF members a proposal that is currently under development for the global dairy sector titled, NET ZERO – Pathways to Low Carbon Dairy , in which the DSF will have a fundamental role of monitoring and reporting progress. Members will be notified of the time of the webinar and connection details shortly.
