Literature review on GWP* enhances ruminant sector’s understanding of methane and how to quantify it!

A Literature review of GWP*, commissioned by Global Dairy Platform (GDP) and partners, addresses some interesting work on methane.  The review suggests the true climate impact of methane may be overstated since current metrics don’t recognise key differences between Greenhouse Gases.  Read the full report.

To build on this review, the partners in the project are now undertaking modelling activities to increase the understanding on quantification models and when they should be used in different ruminant production scenarios.
