Your chance to influence the global dairy indicator development
The Dairy Sustainability Framework (DSF) is designed to align and connect the dairy sector in their sustainability efforts. Importantly, another key deliverable of the Framework is to demonstrate our continuous improvement in the sustainable production of milk and dairy products at an aggregate global level.
The DSF is in the process of identifying High Level Indicators for its 11 Global Criteria. To date, a completely transparent approach has been undertaken with the DSF membership and the DSF Advisory Council.
Two indicators (for GHG Emissions and Animal Care) have already been agreed. The process is now widening out to consider the views and comments of both members and other stakeholders in finalizing FIVE further indicators planned for launch in 2017.
